Introduction
Background: I choose this project because I want to know more detail about my favourite leader and the history of my favourite leader, how can he be famous and other things. I choose Sir Alex Ferguson the manager of Manchester United as my favourite leaderr. I choose Sir Alex Ferguson because he is a good manager, he always manage the team well and leads the team to victory. He always choose the best player to put into the line up, he bought good players. The benefit of me doing this PDR project is I know a lot more about my favourite leader and how he became a manager the history the biodata and other. The benefit for other is they can know more about who is my favourite leader. Im going to search the information in manutd.com and google.com or in the internet. There is alot more info i can find in other place, for example in books magazine from interviewing people and other ways to find the information.
Methodology
In this PDR report I will use the internet and books for my source of my information.

1. A good leader has an exemplary character. It is of utmost importance that a leader is trustworthy to lead others.
2. A good leader is A good leader has an exemplary character.People will respond more openly to a person of passion and dedication.
3. A good leader is confident. In order to lead and set direction a leader needs to appear confident as a person and in the leadership role. Such a person inspires confidence in others and draws out the trust and best efforts of the team to complete the task well.
4. A leader also needs to function in an orderly and purposeful manner in situations of uncertainty.
5. Good leaders are tolerant of ambiguity and remain calm, composed and steadfast to the main purpose.
6. A good leader, as well as keeping the main goal in focus, is able to think analytically. Not only does a good leader view a situation as a whole, but is able to break it down into sub parts for closer inspection.
7. A good leader is committed to excellence. Second best does not lead to success. The good leader not only maintains high standards, but also is proactive in raising the bar in order to achieve excellence in all areas.

My favourite leader:
I choose Alex Ferguson the manager of Manchester united football club as my favourite leader. He is my favorite because he is a good manager, he always choose good player and manage the team well.
Sir Alex Ferguson is the most successful manager in British football history. He won more then 30 trophies when working as a manager in Manchester united F.C.
History:
Sir Alex Ferguson, an eminent football manager, was born to Alexander and Elizabeth on December 31, 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland. He married Cathy and they have three sons; Mark and twins, Darren and Jason. Of his sons, only Darren has followed his father’s profession and is the manager of the Peterborough United FC. He managed the Scotland national football team for a brief period in 1986 before he moved to the Aberdeen Football Club. Between 1957 and 1974, Sir Alex Ferguson spent his playing career with the Queen’s Park FC. At the age of 32, Sir Alex Ferguson began his management career as a part-time job in June 1974 with the East Stirlingshire FC. Then he joiend manchester united.
Problems:
Sir Alex Ferguson has faced many problems in his career. One of those problem is when he was fighting with David Beckham. He thought that beckham is making Manchester united more worse because of beckhams behaviour.

Conclusion and Recommendation
Conclusion: I think sir Alex Ferguson is a good leader and he have the rights to be a leader. But sometimes he is can be very emotional because when his club loses he got angry to the players. To be a good leader we have to be friendly and responsible so our follower will be nice to the leader.
Recommendation: I think to be a good leader we have to be responsible and consistent because if not the followers will be a bad follower and you will be a bad leader.
